Belovd Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Febin Varghese, Bangalore, Karnataka, India (“Belovd”, “we”, “us”, “our”), governing your use of the Belovd mobile application (the “app”).
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to the Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into and form part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Who can use Belovd
Belovd discusses pornography, sexual behaviour and related subjects in direct terms. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the app. By using Belovd you represent that you are 18 or older.
We do not knowingly permit accounts held by anyone under 18. If we learn of one, we will terminate it and delete its data.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password confidential. You agree to give accurate information when you register, and to tell us promptly at support.belovd@gmail.com if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
You may delete your account at any time from inside the app (My account → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and permanent, and we cannot restore it afterwards.
4. What Belovd is, and what it is not
Belovd is a self-help and faith-based support app for women working through lust, including pornography, erotica, masturbation and fantasy. It provides daily check-ins, guided prayer and scripture, and a community.
Belovd is not a medical service, a therapy service, a counselling service, a crisis service, or a substitute for professional care. We are not healthcare providers. Nothing in the app is medical, psychological, or legal advice, and nothing in it creates a clinician-patient or counsellor-client relationship.
Moderators are not continuously available and content is not monitored in real time. If you are at risk of harming yourself or another person, or you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis helpline. Do not rely on Belovd.
5. Community standards and zero tolerance
Belovd includes user-generated content. Participation is conditional on your agreement to the Community Guidelines.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Belovd. You agree that you will not post, and will not tolerate being subjected to, content that is objectionable, abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit toward another member, or otherwise in breach of the Community Guidelines.
We remove objectionable content and terminate the accounts of abusive users. Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours of the report, and content reported by more than one member is hidden from the community automatically pending that review.
You can report any post or comment, and block any member, from inside the app. Reports are confidential and the reported member is not told who submitted a report. Blocking hides that member’s content from you across the entire app.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post content that breaches the Community Guidelines.
- Post slurs, threats of violence, harassment, or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
- Solicit sexual contact, or send or request sexual images.
- Name or link to pornographic or erotic websites, applications, publications, performers or titles, or otherwise direct another member toward such material.
- Share, screenshot, republish or describe another member’s content or identity outside the app.
- Impersonate another member, a real person, or an organisation.
- Post contact details, external links, or personal information belonging to you or anyone else.
- Advertise, sell, promote, recruit for, or solicit payment or donations.
- Post content that is unlawful, or that depicts, promotes or facilitates violence or illegal activity.
- Attempt to access another member’s account or data, circumvent the app’s security or rate limits, scrape the service, or interfere with its operation.
- Create a new account after we have terminated one of yours.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you write in the app. You do not transfer ownership to us.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display your community posts and comments solely in order to operate the app — that is, to show them to other members and to moderate them. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we are required by law to keep and for reports already submitted about that content.
You are responsible for what you post. You confirm that you have the right to post it and that it does not breach anyone else’s rights.
Community content is visible to every signed-in member and cannot be made private after posting. Your check-in answers are not community content: they stay on your device and are never visible to anyone else. See the Privacy Policy.
8. Moderation, suspension and termination
We may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that breaches these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
Breaches involving hate speech, threats, violence, sexual solicitation, or disclosure of another member’s identity may result in termination on a first violation and without prior notice. Other breaches are ordinarily addressed by removing the content and issuing a warning first.
Creating a new account after termination is prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.
Some content is also screened automatically before it is published. That screening is imprecise and may block permitted content; being blocked by it is not a finding that you breached these Terms. If it stopped something you were entitled to post, contact us.

9. Our content, and scripture
The app, its design, text, audio, and other content (other than user content) belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright. You may use them only as part of using the app.

10. Price
Belovd is currently free. There are no purchases, subscriptions, or in-app payments. If we introduce paid features in future, we will tell you before they take effect and you will never be charged without agreeing first.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and what we do not. In summary: we hold your account details, your community content, the dates you completed check-ins, and a record of which screens you reach so we can improve the app. Your check-in answers never reach our servers. We run no advertising and no third-party tracking. If you turn on notifications for replies, they are delivered by Expo and Apple and contain no message content and nothing identifying anyone.
12. Availability
We provide the app on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will meet your requirements, that any particular outcome will result from using it, or that content posted by other members is accurate, appropriate, or safe. Content posted by members is theirs, not ours, and does not represent our views or advice.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, while the app is free, is zero) or US$50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from content you post, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will update the date above and notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Belovd after that means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings there. Nothing here removes consumer protections you have under the mandatory law of your own country.
18. Terms required by Apple
The following apply to the version of the app you obtained through the Apple App Store, and are required by Apple. In this section, “Application” means the Belovd app and “Licensor” means Febin Varghese.
- Acknowledgement. These Terms are between you and Licensor only, and not with Apple. Licensor, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Application and its content.
- Scope of licence. The licence granted to you for the Application is a non-transferable licence to use the Application on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that it may be accessed by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- Maintenance and support. Licensor is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the Application. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services.
- Warranty. Licensor is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the Application to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Application.
- Product claims. Licensor, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Application or your possession and use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
- Intellectual property rights. In the event of any third party claim that the Application or your possession and use of it infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, Licensor, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any such claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer name and address. Febin Varghese, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Questions, complaints and claims: support.belovd@gmail.com.
- Third party terms. You must comply with any applicable third party terms of agreement when using the Application.
- Third party beneficiary. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of them Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third party beneficiary.
